Short biography
A naturalist and author, born in Fareham, Hampshire. Lawman worked in microbiological research. On coming to Cornwall, she managed the University of Bristol Lizard Project on natural history. She authored several books on the natural history of Cornwall.
In 1983, she left Lizard for Land’s End. She was the partner of Peter Boulton who restored the Old Post Office at Newmill from derelict status to a comfortable family home.
