Short biography
Born Leicestershire, Mary Williams has lived in Cornwall since 1947, living for several years at St Ives. She trained at Leicester College of Arts as an artist and worked as a newspaper journalist. She illustrated her own children's books, written in the name of Mary Harvey, and also writes plays and broadcasts.
